RESORT POLICIES AND SAFETY PROCEDURES
Upon request, rules can be offered in different languages
- Rv/Motorhomes must be a minimum of 26 feet (Motorhomes are measured from factory bumper to factory bumper & trailers are measured from the point where the tow bar affixes to the towing vehicle to the factory back bumper) and must be RVIA approved & completely self contained. No Class B RV's, Horse Trailer conversions, School Bus conversions, or pop-up/out trailers allowed.
- There is no cable or wifi.
FIRE PITS & BBQ'S: Wood burning fire pits and charcoal BBQ`s are NOT allowed. Only propane fire pits and BBQ's are permitted. There is no use of owner/lots BBQ's or fire pits but you are welcome to bring your own for personal use.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If canceled 30 days or more before check in date, a full refund minus $50 cancellation fee will be issued. If canceled within 7 days before check in date, a 50% refund minus $50 cancellation fee will be issued. If canceled within 24 hours before check in date, no refunds are issued. No refunds are issued for early departures, late arrivals, no shows or natural occurrences beyond our control (including but not limited to nature, wildlife, etc.)
RATES: Holiday Rates apply to Labor Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day and Thanksgiving. A Three Night Minimum applies to all Holiday Reservations.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIME: Check-In time is between 2-5 pm daily. Please notify the office if you are arriving after 5:00 pm. Please, no arrivals after dusk or before 2:00 pm. Check- Out time is 12:00 pm. NOTE: The entry gates are closed at dusk without exception, If you arrive after hours you will need to stay outside the gates. No refunds are issued for late arrivals.
AMENITIES: Not all lots have amenities (tables, umbrellas, chairs, etc.). Amenities on lots, if any, are not guaranteed to be in working order. If you find that an amenity is not in working order upon your arrival, please notify the Rental Office so that we can try to fix the problem.
ACCESS: Renters have access to designated pool & spa, tennis courts, laundry facility, private lake entry, showers and restrooms. Please keep all activity on the lot you have reserved. Clubhouse, satellite spa and boat docks are for Owners use only.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF VISITORS & VEHICLES: Only one RV is allowed on your rented lot with a maximum of six (6) overnight guests. This includes adults, children and infants. No outdoor sleeping is allowed.
GUESTS: Renters guests must be accompanied by the renter at all times. Renters guests are NOT permitted to use the facilities at any time. This includes the swimming pool, spa(s), showers, laundry facility, etc.
POOL: The pool closes at 10:00 pm and is available to renters and owners only. Renters may only use the pool and spa located next to the clubhouse. Rafts and pool toys are not permitted. Anyone under the age of 16 using the swimming pool/spa, must be accompanied by a person(s) above the age of 18. Wading pool are not permitted on lots.
ACTIVITIES: Parents/guardians are responsible for the minors’ safety and behavior. All activity must remain on your reserved lot. Trespassing on other lots is prohibited.
CODE OF CONDUCT: Renters and their guests are welcome to enjoy the quiet peaceful beauty of the Big Bear Shores RV Resort and are expected to show the same respect as owners of this Resort. Conduct at any time that is loud, boisterous, or rowdy and is disturbing the peace and enjoyment of others is not acceptable.
GOLF CARTS: You must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart.
SPEED LIMIT: There is a strict 5 MPH speed limit within the resort. This includes all motorized vehicles, golf carts and any other manner of conveyance including bicycles, roller skates, etc.
PINK TAGS: Please display your pink renter tag(s) in your RV so it is visible from the street. If you have a tow vehicle, the tag should be displayed on the rearview mirror
GATE CARDS: Your gate card allows you automatic entry into the resort. The card must be returned to the office upon your departure. If the office is closed, you may leave the card in the drop box just outside the rental office door. Gate card keys not returned upon departure will result in you being charged a $100 replacement fee.
PARKING: There is no parking allowed on the streets, gravel areas or boat ramp. RV’s, trailers, boats, extra vehicles, etc. must be parked at your reserved lot. Open (unassigned) parking spaces may be used as temporary parking of vehicles (excluding RV’s, trailers & boats) for a period not to exceed 24 hours. Vehicles parked in these areas for more than 24 hours are subject to being towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. Any trailer and/or boat that cannot fit on the reserved lot or additional vehicle that exceeds the temporary parking period must park outside of the resort. Lakefront Lots can only accomodate Class A or Class C Motorhomes, Trailers and Fifthwheels are not allowed on the LakeFront Sites.
TRASH: Must be placed in plastic bags (30 gallon or smaller), placed at the curb, and will be picked up at 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Please do not place trash outside after last pick up schedule (we do have critters at night).
SMOKING: Smoking is allowed within your rental site only. There is no smoking allowed in any common area such as the pool, spas, restrooms or the laundry facility.
QUIET TIME: Between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. NO EXCEPTIONS
HELMETS: Helmets are required for those under the age of 18 while riding Bicycles.You must have a valid driver’s license to operate Electric Bicyles. Scooters, can only be ridden on paved roads and walks. Skateboards and razors/ electric scooters are NOT ALLOWED - NO EXCEPTIONS.
RESTRICTIONS: Wood burning fire pits and charcoal BBQ`s are NOT allowed. Free standing screen rooms, EZ-ups and tents are NOT allowed. Free standing satellites are not permitted unless attached to your RV. Non-commercial Drones are NOT allowed.
ANIMALS: Animals must be walked in the street and are not permitted on the common or private areas. Animals must be on a leash at all times while outside and must use the rest area outside of the resort. Any “accidents” must be cleaned up immediately. Animals are not to be left unattended and must be kept inside your RV at night. Barking or any other disturbances is not permitted. You are required to keep your rental site clear of animal waste during your visit and upon your departure. There will be a $50.00 fee for any animal waste clean up performed by staff.
AWNINGS: Free standing screen rooms, EZ-ups and tents are NOT ALLOWED.
SATELLITES: Free standing satellites are not permitted. Satellites must be attached to your RV.
HOOK UPS: Full hook ups are offered during the Spring through the Summer months. Water hook ups are not available during the Winter months.
ENTHEOS LIVING, INC. AND BIG BEAR SHORES RV RESORT ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LIABILITY OR DAMAGE THAT THE RENTER HAS INCURRED DURING THEIR STAY, AND RENTER IS RESPONSIBLE TO HAVE INSURANCE TO COVER SUCH DAMAGES.
IF THE LOT YOU HAVE RESERVED , SHOULD BE SOLD PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL, OR FOR ANY REASON WE SHOULD HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR LOT PRIOR TO YOUR RESERVATION, WE WILL TRY TO ACCOMMODATE YOU INTO ANOTHER LOT. IN THE EVENT WE ARE UNABLE TO RELOCATE YOU TO ANOTHER LOT, WE WILL REFUND YOUR MONIES IN FULL.
PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM THE LOT THAT YOU ARE RENTING. IF PROPERTY IS MISSING OR DAMAGED, AT THE TIME OF YOUR DEPARTURE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED TO REPLACE WHAT IS MISSING OR DAMAGED.
PLEASE LEAVE THE LOT YOU RESERVED AS CLEAN AS IT WAS WHEN YOU ARRIVED TO AVOID A CLEANING FEE.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE AND ASK ANY RENTER TO LEAVE AT ANY TIME!
