5.0 star rating 8/24/2014 The best RV resort on the lake. Great pool and spa, ton of fun activity for the kids. Not the cheapest, but well worth it.

Big Bear Shores is the ultimate RV resort. It is an Owners park, where they allow renters to use spaces that are available when the owner is on travel. They have a swimming pool, two spas, Tennis court, horseshoe pit, private marina and boat launching, near by Hiking and riding trail access and Security Gate with card access. Have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel

This resort is our new favorite. What a gorgeous setting and the people who manage it are so courteous and accommodating. I called while we were on the way to see if we could check in an hour early. We had reserved a standard site, but in order to accommodate another party, the manager asked us if we wouldnt mind switching to a lake front with all the bells and whistles and they would pay the difference. Who could say no to that? It was incredible; a huge deck/seating area with built in BBQ, sink, oven, fire pit, etc. We were happy. The resort is maintained nicely, with squeaky clean restrooms/showers. They even pick up your trash once a day. The kids enjoyed the pool and I had my eye on the tennis court (just not enough time). All sites are owned; some were for sale. Theyre all very large and wide to fit any size plus vehicles and toys. The manager gave us a tour with no pressure and patiently answered our questions. We didnt buy one, but we will definitely return! We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great Park!!! Each site is individually owned and the landscaping is tremendous. The staff was very helpful in check-in. They escorted us to our site and assisted in backing in (probably to ensure that the "renters" dont damage anything!) Great experience, view was tremendous. Plenty of things to do in the area. Hiking/bike trails, etc. I would certainly camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Weve been coming here for the last 6 years. If you want a place that is a cut above the basic campgrounds that Big Bear offers, this is the place for you. Rents are higher, but some of these owners have put ten of thousands of dollars into their RV space. When making your reservations, ask the office staff to recommend a spot to get an upgraded site. Highly recommend Big Bear Shores.

Stayed here last 4th of July and had the perfect vacation. Yes, it is on the pricey side~but you get what you pay for~everything is kept up nicely~super clean! I think the higher prices help to keep the loud, obnoxious campers out and to me that is worth it. Everyone that works there is super nice and friendly. Cant wait to go back!!

5.0 star rating 9/6/2014 Beautiful rv resort in an incredible setting. We came here for the 4th of July and are still here in September. Great facilities. Pool, spas, tennis, basketball, ice machines. Trash picked up from your site. Grounds are immaculately cared for. Lakefront location. Friendly staff offering great service. Sites are individually owned and resort shows that pride of ownership. You wont be disappointed!!
